Too many options

Just spoke to my brother on the phone. He was thinking about switching to another internet provider. The specs were the same; up and download speeds and so on, all available in his domicile. Only thing different was the price. 10 euros a month cheaper! He filled in an online form to apply for this wonderful deal. Next day he receives a letter and information package, stating that the speed cannot be guaranteed in his zip area. Why is it that all these corporations, whether it is internet, energy and so on, are trying to lure you in their evil scheme for world domination? Nowadays it is all about a better environment. It is the most fashionable thing to do these days. And of course good ol’ dough. After all shareholders do not give a flying piss bout the environment.

Anyway we talked about how many different parties are now competing for the attention of the customer. Wouldn’t it be much better for the consumer if there were but only one supplier of energy, one supplier of healthcare insurance, one telephone operator? I do not even bother to look through the abstract wilderness of different suppliers. It is too much work and takes up too much time. For what?

Everyone must have been in the dairy section of an average supermarket these days. It is overwhelming. So many choices. Shock and Awe! Americans should take detentees from Afhanistan and Iraq and make them stand in front of a dairy section for an hour or so. The poor prisoners will be likely to tell anything after being confronted with so much dairy related products. I know I would. That is why I do not even bother to watch. Milk and yoghurt in two varieties. What more can a human being possibly need?

Choices? For what democracy? Fuck you. Nothing democratic about living in a world where one is bombarded by commercial messages 24 hours a day. Buy me or buy them. Fuck that! whether it is dairy or energy. If I want it or need it I do not want to think about which one to pick. Just gimme the goods.

Or Earthboy meets Na’vi girl and falls in love and saves the world of Pandora. What about Earth Cameron? So you are gonna let us rot away, and some blue smurf-like tailed we are the world creatures get to live on. Slightly drifting away here..Not so stunning story! Yet the experience itself was. Quite!

I went to see Avatar together with a couple of friends in the beautiful city of Almere. All you foreign and indigenous visitors looking for a once in a lifetime experience; Go visit Almere! Wow! Do not forget the mushrooms!!! Please try not to jump off bridges. Thnx.

Place of venue was the somewhat overrated theatre called Utopolis. Kind of a weird place with runes on the floor. If you are a neo-nazi then this is the place to watch movies. Check out the carpet dudez et dudettez!

The movie. Well if you hated Titanic then you will not hate this movie as much. Just make sure you leave before the end score kicks in, otherwise it will remind you of Celine Dion’s horrendous My heart will go on but I wish it wouldn’t melodramatic unrealistic pathetic celluloid pollution ship meets iceberg thingie. Big difference with the ship devouring iceberg flick is that this time there is a happy end. Unless you are a marine of course coz the Marines get their behinds kicked by the giant tailed smurfs. Yep them Na’vis! I am now wondering whether Marines in Afghanistan and Iraq get to see this…. Probaly not coz for them it is pretty demoralizing stuff here. Jarheads of the world; if you like unhappy endings, then you’d better ask yer girlfriends or mommies to dust off your video copy of Leo an Kate’s tearjerker and have it fed-exed. If not keep on reading.

Anyway the movie is LotR meets Alien meets the Abyss meets King Kong meets Kate Winslet meets Leonardo Dicaprio all covered in 3-D sauce. Tastes quite spectacular to be frank. Which I am not but I try to be!

Lookin forward to Tim Burton’s sauce to be franker!

Should John Demjanjuk, aka “Ivan the Terrible”, the notorious prison guard at the Treblinka extermination camp also be electronically tagged and put away in the same Swiss chalet at Gstaad where Roman P. currently resides? That way we would be killing two birds with one stone. Roman would pay for having raped a teenager and John D. for being reponsible for the deaths of over 29.000 jews in Sobibor. Just a thought here.

For how long will teen molester or rapist Roman Polanski remain in his luxury hideaway in Gstaad? Why is it that Academy winning teen molesters are allowed to choose where they spend their jail time, and non Academy winning teen molesters get to spend their trial awaiting days in prison. Who will say? Are there plans Roman is gonna shoot a new movie in Gstaad? One that the world cannot live without? What do you think?

Another day, another post. Not entirely true since I am not a very consistent blogger. I try to but boy it is hard..

One of the things I came across today on several websites was the ‘shocker’ of the day; Rage Against the Machine beat X Factor winner Joe McElderry in the UK chart.
Rage against the Machine has won from the corporate music machine led by Simon Cowell. For several years now the number one position of the X-mas chart in UK has been taken by the winner of the X-Factor. No more of that!

Raging against the (music) machine has finally paid off. Hurrah! The mass hysteria of X-Factor has lost to the mass hysteria of Jon and Tracy Morter’s campaign to prevent Cowell’s baby boy or girl from winning this year.

And now you do what they told ya…

Ironically people need to be told what to do. Even Zack de la Rocha!
